This is an exciting opportunity to lead the organisation as it embarks on a new stage of development. SEARCH is a local, independent charity based in the west of Newcastle, and our mission is to promote and protect the welfare and wellbeing of older people.

We have been supporting older people in Newcastle for 40 years and this means we are a trusted place that many older people come to when in need of help and support. We support all with a focus on the vulnerable and disadvantaged who require an extra helping hand.

We are looking to appoint an exceptional individual who will continue to build on our foundations, address the challenges and take advantage of the opportunities to lead the charity forward.

The successful candidate will have a commitment to, and understanding of, the services provided by SEARCH.

The post is currently based at our office in Scotswood.

If you would like to work as part of a dedicated team who believe in valuing older people, and bringing communities together, we want to hear from you.
