Search will be closed from 1 pm on Thursday the 24th of December and re-open on Monday the 4th of January.

Our usual groups will have a break over Christmas and return in the New Year. The only exception is the Tea Dance whcih will have a special Christmas event on Tuesday the 29th of December at Robert Stewart Memorial on Wingrove Road from 1,30 pm to 3.30 pm. Everyone welcome

Our singing group is based on the idea that singing brings people together in a friendly and stimulating social environment.

The group meets 11.30 am to 12.30 pm on the first Thursday of the month at St James Church on Benwell Lane opposite Lidl. Everyone over 50 is warmly invited to attend.

Singing is not only an enjoyable activity, it can also provide a way for people to express themselves and socialise with others in a fun and supportive group. Hidden in the fun are activities which build on the well-known preserved memory for song and music in the brain.

No experience necessary, just a willingness to have fun singing.
